How to book a Learners

Licence Package - R800

What you must do:

1. Deposit the amount of R800 into our bank account. This includes all costs.

2. We need this payment upfront as we commit financially to booking test dates.

3. We have 2 cheque accounts. Standard Bank. Castle Walk Branch. Branch code 014645. If your surname starts with A – L please use Acc 302 514 287. If your surname starts with M – Z please use Acc  302 513 744. The purpose is only to make our admin easier. 

4. Please use the clients name and surname as reference.

5. Fax an uncertified copy of the clients ID book, deposit slip and client registration form (attached) to 0866 117 594.

6. We do not accept credit card payments.

7. Documents may also be emailed to mydrivingschool@telkomsa.net 

What we will do:

1. We will contact you to arrange a date and time to take you to the testing centre to book your test date. At the Testing Centre you will do an eye test and admin.

2. The client MUST be present in person at the testing centre to complete the booking.

3. On the day of the booking at the testing centre you will receive the self study material.

4. On the day of your test we will collect you 60-90 minutes before your test time so that you can write the learners licence test at the Testing Centre. Remember your ID book / passport on this day.

5. We will deliver you again at your address upon completion. 

Please take note:

1. The average waiting period is 4-6 weeks to complete depending on availability.

2. On the day of your eye test and booking  you need to bring your  ID book, a copy thereof and 2 black and white passport photo’s.

3. You need to be available during office hours on weekdays for the booking and writing of the exam.

4. We do not offer Learners Licence classes or personal coaching. Our method is self study and you will receive detailed information to enable you to study.

5. On the day of your learners licence test you MUST bring your ID book and receipt.

6. You must be 17 years old to apply and the learners licence is valid for 24 months.
